Last week I got the chance to try the Oil Therapy Treatment by La Biosthétique at a beautiful hair salon in Potsdam called Marion Ganse. For quite some time now I have been looking for a silicone free hair treatment that includes natural ingredients. La Biosthétique’s Oil Therapy Treatment is the first I’ve tried so far and I’m really happy with the results!
The treatment is for dry, chapped hair with slip ends which is in great need of moisture, a healthy shine and volume. Since I blow dry my hair every day and also like to use the curling iron once in a while I was definitely in need for something that will repair my damaged hair. The Oil Therapy Treatment supports the hairs natural fat and moisture reservoirs by filling them up with valuable natural oils. In the past whenever I used natural plant oils on my hair it always ended up being a huge mess. Even after the third time shampooing I would still find spots with oil, especially around the roots. It looked as if I hadn’t washed my hair for weeks! As you can see in the pictures after the treatment I didn’t have this problem at all with La Biosthétique’s Oil Therapy Treatment. Instead of oil weighing my hair down I actually had a lot of volume. There are two versions of the treatment, Oil Therapy Volume and Oil Therapy Vital and they’re done exclusively by an expert in one of the La Biosthétique salons which you can find here. I personally prefer the Oil Therapy Volume version since I have something in between fine and thick hair and I just love volume J For anyone with rather strong and naturally fizzy hair I would rather recommend the Oil Therapy Vital version.

Step 2: After 10 minutes the hair is treated with a cream balm which surrounds every single strand of hair with an organic protective coating and intensifies the effect of the oil. At the end of the treatment any excess product is simply rinsed out with water.
